What you can bring to the country and do not need be stated:

  • Books, periodicals;

  • Personal things needed during the trip;

  • 1 (one) USED camera;

  • 1 (one) USED watch;

  • 1 (one) USED cell phone;

  • Purchases, within quantitative limits, below the US$ 500.00 (by air or sea) or US$ 300.00 (by land, river or lake) exemption quota if you have not traveled within one month;

  • Shopping at the Free Shop's Landing Shops.

QUANTITATIVE LIMITS:

I. Alcoholic beverages: 12 liters in total;

II. Foreign-made cigarettes: 10 packs in total, each containing 20 units;

III. Cigars and cigarillos: 25 units in total;

IV. Smoking: 250 grams in total;

V. Goods not listed in items I to IV valued at less than US$ 10.00 (by air or sea) and US$ 5.00 (by land, river or lake): up to 20 units, at most 10 identical;

VI. Goods not listed in items I to IV worth more than US$ 10.00 (by air or sea) and US$ 5.00 (by land, river or lake): up to 20 units, at most 03 identical.

* Please note: Minors under 18 years of age, even if accompanied, cannot purchase alcohol or tobacco products.

 

What MUST be stated:

  • All purchases exceeded the exemption quota (US$ 500.00, by sea and air / US$ 300.00, by land, river and lake);

  • Amounts in cash, in national or foreign currency, over R$ 10,000.00, both at the exit of the country and upon arrival;

  • Dairy products, fruits, vegetables, honey and derivatives, meat, fish, sausages, canned, seeds and grains, insects, molluscs, bacteria, fungi, food, animals, eggs, semen and embryos, flowers, plants and seedlings, earth or wood , veterinary and pesticide products, must be declared and presented to the Agricultural Surveillance - Vigiagro;

  • Medicines, foods, cosmetics, hygiene products, perfumes and medical equipment that exceed, in quantity and frequency, the expected consumption for the period of stay or treatment, which contains a substance for use prohibited in Brazil or that characterize trade or provision of services to the 3rd;

  • Armaments and ammunition;

  • Goods for commercial or industrial purposes;

  • Goods of a global value exceeding US$ 3,000,00 subject to the Temporary Admission Regime, for travelers not resident in Brazil, and only when declaration is required;

  • Other items that you want to check into the country.
